The result of an extensive, professionally executed four-year restoration, this custom Nomad is powered by a formidable 555cid Edelbrock Musi fuel-injected crate engine, dyno-tuned to deliver an impressive 677 horsepower. Paired with a Raptor Turbo 400 automatic transmission equipped with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit, gear selection is effortlessly controlled at the push of a button. Beneath the body lies a bespoke chassis from the Roadster Shop, featuring Kugel independent rear suspension and QA1 coilover front suspension for precision handling and ride quality. Performance enhancements include rack-and-pinion steering, Wilwood six-piston brakes with cross-drilled rotors, a 4-inch aluminum driveshaft, Rick’s stainless steel fuel tank, Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, Jet-Hot-coated 3-inch exhaust, and MagnaFlow stainless mufflers. The body was meticulously stripped to bare metal during the build. The firewall was recessed, the hood custom-cut to accommodate the air cleaner, and the grille opening subtly widened. Wheel wells were tubbed for a more aggressive stance, and both a power tailgate and power-operated gas filler—cleverly concealed behind a taillight—were seamlessly integrated. Finished in a dazzling combination of Viper Blue and Snow White Hot Hues, the bodywork was expertly primed, blocked, sealed, and cleared using premium DuPont materials. Staggered Billet Specialties wheels are wrapped in high-performance Michelin PS2 tires. The engine bay is immaculately detailed, with all wiring and A/C lines thoughtfully concealed for a clean, streamlined appearance. Inside, modern luxury meets classic style with amenities such as Vintage Air climate control, push-button transmission, passive keyless entry with push-button start, supple leather seating, and comprehensive Dynamat sound insulation.
