An icon reborn, this 1956 Porsche 550 RS Spyder re-creation channels the raw spirit of one of Stuttgart’s most legendary racing machines. Faithfully modeled after the original mid-engine giant-killer that dominated circuits in the 1950s, this re-creation features the unmistakable low-slung silhouette, aerodynamic curves, and minimalist cockpit that made the 550 RS a motorsport icon. Constructed with lightweight materials, including a handcrafted alloy body on a recreation of the original 550 tubular chassis, and powered by a high-revving 356 engine with dual Zenith 32 carburetors, and a period-correct four-speed transaxle. This Spyder offers an exhilarating driving experience that’s true to its racing roots. The spartan interior, complete with vintage-style gauges and bucket seats, keeps the focus firmly on the road ahead.
