#177 • 2014 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY PREMIER EDITION
Part of 5/18/2024 Collector Motor Series Auction (live auction by Henderson Auctions)
Status: Sold
This is a stunning example of a very rare 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe Premier Edition with extremely low mileage. This Corvette is number 112 of 500 limited production coupes. From Car and Drive “While the engine and the transmission options remain unchanged, the Premiere Edition isn’t going to be hard to pick out of a lineup. There are Stingray logos on the center caps of the chrome wheels and on the sill plates, a prominent “stinger” stripe on the hood, and Vette-branded luggage designed by Thule. Based on the top-level 3LT trim, the Premiere Vette comes only in Laguna Blue and features brown faux suede upholstery and interior trim, as well as the carbon-fiber trim décor package and an exposed carbon-fiber roof. The 500 examples can also be identified by their VIN numbers, the run of which starts with 300001, and by an individually numbered plaque on the dashboard. Tire-munching performance is guaranteed by the 455-hp, LT1 small-block V-8 as well as the standard Z51 performance package. A variable exhaust system ensures the full attention of neighbors and bystanders”. Adding to the uniqueness and raw excitement of this vehicle, it was brought to Late Model Racecraft in Houston Texas, where it was outfitted with the “LMR750” package. This package boasts the following enhancements: LMR Supercharger with an air-to-air intercooler, 1 7/8 Stainless Steel Headers, X-Pipe with high flow Catalytic Converters, Corsa Exhaust, NGK Spark plugs, MSD 8.5mm Spark Plug wires, Upgraded Head bolts, Upgraded Head Gaskets, Comp OE Lifters, LMR Billet 2pc 160 Thermostat, LT1 Custom Grind Camshaft Package, Cam Phaser Kit, LMR Breather with Fresh Air Mod, Custom Dyno Tune (over 698 RWHP) and Carbon Fiber Engine Covers. LMR 750HP, 112/500. VIN: 1G1YL2D78E5300112 Selling at Public Auction on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
